The JV Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Duke School in Durham to compete in their last game of the season. The Eagles lost 5-6 and had a shot to try and tie the game in the last 10 seconds of the game. In the first meeting the Eagles were defeated 4-11. The team was focused on their defensive positioning, which worked well in the game. We executed well in the game with defensive stops, ground balls won, face-offs won, and good transition passes. Our opponent had some great plays as well and their goalie had some key saves at different stages of the game. Some of our players were new to lacrosse and some have had some experience in the game. Each player has experienced growth and learned how the game flows, as well as different situational plays that occur throughout the game. Scoring for the Eagles were the following players: Drew had 2 goals; Duncan, Lane and Jack P had one goal each. Drew and Cooper had one assist each. Our JV Boys Lacrosse season is finished and I look forward to work with our players in the future. Go Eagles.
