Summit School Family Association

I've always appreciated how Summit invites and values parent partnerships. After touring (and attending) other schools, it is something that stood out to us from the very first communications we received as prospective parents. And it's been warm fuzzies ever since! But in all sincerity, if Summit is hosting it, I'm always doing what I can to make it there. I know how fortunate we are to be a part of a school that invites, listens to, and values the parent partnership as much as Summit. Not all independent schools do it the way Summit does. Summit really sets the bar.

The Summit School Family Association includes all current parents and guardians and serves to support and enrich student and campus life.

Through volunteerism, the Summit FA plans a variety of fundraising events, friend-raising events, and supports faculty with curriculum-based projects.

Back to School Bash 
Friday, August 28, 2026 from 5:30-7:30 pm
A celebration of the new year, this family-fun night includes: food trucks, face painting, field games and more. 

Back to School Coffee
Friday, September 4, 2026 8-9 am
Stop by for a cup of coffee to see old friends, meet new parents and learn about volunteer opportunities for the upcoming school year.  Younger siblings are welcome.

Under The Stars
Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 6-8 pm
A free social event for current parents, faculty, and staff.  This event is just for adults.

May Frolics
Friday, May 1, 2027 from 5:30-7:30 pm
A fun outdoor celebration for the whole family.  We'll have fan-favorite activities like face painting, balloon animals, inflatables, and a bake sale.
