The pouring of the concrete slab started early in the morning on September 1, when it was still dark.

On October 5, Summit science faculty members Chris Culp ’81, Amanda Ayers, and Beatriz Gurgel-Burns participated in Coffee and Construction, an informal gathering where parents and friends of Summit enjoyed coffee and had the opportunity to ask questions about the SEED Center.

Mrs. G’s 4th-grade science class is creating scientific illustrations of the SEED center while it is under construction. They will continue to make progress drawings as the construction continues.
