Our lower school library is an incredible space and would have been one of my favorite places in the world as a child. There is still almost nothing more inviting than a cozy room full of inviting book displays and countless hours of wonderful stories in which to lose myself.
ONE THING I WANT ALL MY STUDENTS TO KNOW WHEN THEY LEAVE MY CLASSROOM
Is that they are loved and have important perspectives to offer the world. I hope each child understands that they are a very important part of a very big wheel, and has begun to grasp both their own value and their responsibility to their communities.
