Welcome

Summit celebrates a long legacy of philanthropy. Founded in 1933, Summit has grown and flourished through the generosity of generations of families and friends who make Summit a philanthropic priority.   The active partnership between the School and our parents, grandparents, alumni and friends has resulted in an educational experience that prepares graduates who excel in high school, college and adult life.

Financial Support
Summit's academic excellence and current strength are a direct result of the financial and volunteer support we receive from our constituents. Summit relies on financial support beyond tuition to fulfill its mission and keep our programs accessible to a wide range of families. As we are a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization, all gifts are tax-exempt. The reasons for supporting Summit are as varied as our constituents:

  • to make a difference in the lives of students, teachers and staff,
  • to honor a teacher, parent or student,
  • to show loyalty and pride in Summit,
  • to give back to Summit.

Each gift makes something special happen so today's students experience scholarship at its best, developing confidence in who they are and all they can be.

Please consider supporting the Summit Annual Fund, Learning That Lasts Forever capital campaign or joining the Patrons for Tomorrow planned giving society. It is now easy to give using Summit's secure online giving option. We also ask for your support of fund-raising projects that are sponsored by the Parents' Association throughout the year.

Active Participation
A Summit education is very much a family affair and parents, grandparents and alumni are encouraged to take an active part.  Volunteers help with Parents' Association committees, take part in classroom activities, attend athletic and fine arts events, and join fundraising teams.  This active involvement enriches our students' experience and helps build a welcoming, inclusive community.

The Office of School Support invites you to explore this section to learn more about the many ways you can make a meaningful impact on Summit and its students.

Thank you for your continuing support!
