Event Recap: The JV Girls Basketball team lost in the first round of the Central Carolina Conference Tournament to Carter G. Woodson 11-35. The Lady Eagles came out tonight with a lot of energy, hustle, and teamwork. The Lady Eagles hustled on defense and had numerous passes to open teammates, but the ball simply wouldn't fall in the basket. This game finishes the season for Summit School's JV Girls Basketball Team. The team is composed of thirteen seventh grade girls, all who have put a lot of hard work to get better in the game of basketball. Each player made strides in their basketball skills this year. Scoring for the Lady Eagles tonight were Caroline, Sarah, Gracie, Madison, Nyla, and Elizabeth. Congratulations on a year of growing in the game. You all wore the Orange and Green proudly. GO EAGLES!! |
