Event Recap: The JV Girls Basketball team lost to Carter G. Woodson tonight 18-39. The Lady Eagles had a first half full of turnovers, which resulted in easy baskets for Carter G. Woodson and a deficit that our team could not overcome. Our team has two more games this week and looks forward in rebounding from tonight's loss. Our girls learned from tonight's loss about transition defense and the importance of protecting the basketball. We are a TEAM and we will learn, refocus, and be ready for the games at the end of the week. The Lady Eagles had seven girls score against Carter G. Woodson. The scorers were Karis DeNeui, Madison Terry, Julia Cullinan, Nyla Rogers, Abra Granger, Sarah Grubbs, and Caroline McNeer. |
