The JV Girls Basketball team lost to Calvary Baptist Day School tonight, 20-27. The Eagles shot poorly in the first half to fall behind 4-17 to the Cougars. The squad came to life in the second half, outscoring Calvary 16-10. The group made some adjustments and started to attack the basket in the second half. Three players scored in the game for the Lady Eagles. Karis had 12 points, Sarah had 6 points, and Madison added 2 points. The team finishes their regular season with three games next week: at Carter G. Woodson on Tuesday, at Home against Forsyth Home Educators on Thursday, and at Forsyth Country Day School on Friday.
