The JV Boys lost last evening against conference rival Carter G. Woodson by a score of 41-31. The game was a physical, fast-paced contest, which left the two teams anticipating a possible rematch in the Central Carolina Conference Tournament after splitting the season series 1-1. Andrew led the Eagles in scoring and rebounds with 11 points and 10 rebounds. He also hit three critical three-point shots to draw the Eagles back into striking distance in the third and fourth quarter. Juston added 9 points and did a commendable job navigating the team's passing through a tough full court press. The Eagles had a chance to make the game a two possession contest with two minutes and thirty seconds left in the fourth quarter, yet the team went 1-6 from the free throw line. The team returns to action on Thursday at home against Forsyth Home Educators.
