Lower School (JrK-5)

Summit blends tradition and innovation to provide a challenging curriculum. We strive to build a community in each classroom while focusing on the needs of each individual. Nowhere is this more evident than in the Early Childhood Program, consisting of Junior Kindergarten (JrK) and Kindergarten (K). Most students enter Summit in this division.

At Summit, we believe that childhood is a journey and not a race. Our Elementary Division, consisting of grades one through five, takes great joy in starting children on their journey for lifelong learning.As children enter the division in the 1st grade, they come with a healthy curiosity, academic readiness skills, eagerness to learn, and energy unlike at any other age. As they mature and develop new skills, our highly experienced staff is trained to help students reach their full potential in academic, social, emotional, and physical areas.
